Linen, cotton batting, silk and cotton thread / each a handmade edition of 8

These multiples play on the idea of ephemeral scrap paper, often used for absent-minded scribbling. Each one is carefully quilted and sewn with linen fabric and hand-stitched with an embroidered scribble. The multiples converse between the slow domestic labour of quilting and the throwaway nature of mass-produced paper, questioning the relationship between text and textile.
